Congrats, I was following the ordeal on facebook.
My wife was in labor for 14 hrs and pushed for about 2. I know you had a bit more and for that I salute you.

Congrats again mal. It will soon get past the amorphous blob that craps all over the place stage and you'll have a quick lapse between that the the thinks for itself and becomes a little monster stage.
Note: It will continue to poop all over the pace regardless of the stage it's in until it hits the "I hate you" stage. Then, if you're lucky, it will only pee all over the place.

Haha I thought the same thing. He's adorable!! 
With my third we had to go back in a week after she was born so she could tan for a while under the bili lights too. With the little sunshade over her eyes and nothing else on except a diaper she really did look like she was sun-bathing. Had to do that for three days. She HATED being taken out from under the lights, whether it was to be changed or fed or anything. But stick her back under there and she was like "hey, this is awesome...just gonna relax, oh yeah..."
