I wear either Danner or Georgia boots. Not fond of Redwing. I have had better luck with Georgia boots holding up in the mud, rain, concrete than anything else. Good boots are going to cost almost $200 at a minimum, anything under $100 is junk that will not hold up to a serious job site. I always get steel toe as well. My next pair will probably be Danner Rainforest boots, almost $300. However, they are double layers of leather and extra heavy triple stitching.
I have owned two pairs of Georgia boots.
They are awesome would buy again.
Danners are good also,I had some desert combat boots issued to me by navy supply.

Most over rated workbook brand on Earth.
If you care about getting quality boots, there are a lot of other options.
If you want a label over the safety of your feet, go ahead and get red wings...

Outside of gloves, boots are the most important part of your work uniform.
They are also notorious for being a "you get what you pay for" item.
I only wear Red Wings or Doc Martins now, after several years of bargain boots falling apart in 2-3 months, and have never been disappointed with either.

Doc Martens
Get three pair, rotate if you wear daily and keep them clean and mink oiled. You will get years of use out of them.

I still have my toes and i have never seen or heard of anyone losing their toes because of steel toe boots. Sure the odd freak accident occurs but it isnt a common accident.
