There is your problem -- you don't go to a CHAIN restaurant for breakfast.
You go to a good DINER.
The only reason to go to a chain for breakfast is because it is not in breakfast hours and you want breakfast at dinnertime -- in which case I suggest Perkins...
You're just full of wisdom for someone planning a trip on the interstate system.
Thanks -- One good thing about Diners on such a trip as well is that you get something different every time instead of getting the same old same old you would get from a chain.
I go to a lot of flea markets and eat breakfast when I do. This means the gap diner if I go north (over by wind gap PA), The pied piper if I go west (out by barto PA), The Eagle Diner if I go to Lambertville and Quakertown (it is across the river in PA from Lambertville).
