if your ever in my area the bear paw has good coffee and these things they call homes fries that i would shoot someone if they tried to eat mine.

There is your problem -- you don't go to a CHAIN restaurant for breakfast.
You go to a good DINER.
The only reason to go to a chain for breakfast is because it is not in breakfast hours and you want breakfast at dinnertime -- in which case I suggest Perkins...

Bob Evans cooks the filling of the omelets in with the eggs...the way they should be. Best omelets anywhere. Plus, they have this one breakfast thing (pot roast hash) with roast beef over home fries with cheese and eggs that is so awesome I will drive 100 miles out of my way to order one.
Their food blows Cracker Barrel away.

Perkins up north are awesome. Corporate HQ is right outside of Minn/St. Paul...they keep a high quality in that region.
