Woman gets pregnant when she has no way of supporting a child, no one in her life to help her, and is in no position to keep herself healthy and deal with the medical/practical issues of carrying a baby for nine months. Lets throw in a bit of heroin addiction while we are at it.

Yes, everyone on the planet would love for her to be able to turn her life around 180 degrees, drop the heroin addiction, win the lottery, and become an upstanding citizen and mother.

That's what all this bull is about. Santorum is at least honest about it, he thinks every time you have sex you should be trying to make a baby, or at least happy that you very well might be doing so, or you are evil and sinning.

Most of the rest of the men pushing this stupidity wont come out and say that, but it's how they feel. Sex is horrible and wrong and letting people have sex without holding the threat of getting pregnant over them is an abomination, why...those women might actually start enjoying sex and go out and look for it like those men do!

Can't have that, woman are fragile and delicate creatures who must be protected from their ebil lusts by threats of enforced parenthood and months of suffering, culminating in painful and life threatening labor....or they might start acting like men and taking control of their own lives.

It's misogyny and hatred of women that prompt these ridiculous and 14th century based laws that those men keep trying to pass. Many of the men are so self absorbed and out of touch that they don't even realize how god damn stupid and insulting the laws they support are.....and bills such as the ones mentioned in the OP force them to take a closer look at their biases and their narcissistic, misogynistic ambivalence.

You threaten to make a man take a rectal probe to get viagra and they might just think twice about trying to force women to undergo similarly stupid and needless procedures to obtain birth control or an abortion. Some it will never touch, but those men are hopelessly mired in the past and will never learn.

Boner pills for older guys not having sex with women who can have children is perfectly fine for Republicans.


Women capable of child bearing who want contraception is not OK because sex should only be for procreation in reverent glory to God.
