As in, when an enemy cons red or blue or whatever. I believe it's short for "consider", but what MMO did the term come from?

'con' is short for reconnoiter.

It didnt -- it was way back in text based muds. Pretty much every mud had a consider command -- beit diku merc or lp.

It was a command on a MUD, it would tell you whether or not you were likely to survive the encounter.

Never heard of "con". Does anyone know where "mob" came from? I've heard it's short for "mobile object".
