Nope they switched to the "needle" several years ago.
They made the change shortly after a guy started smoking when they used the chair on him.

You can't blame the law for this. The law was not passed to allow this. The state attorney down there needs to do his damn job and charge the SOB. If not the DoJ should start an investigation.

I heard the tapes also. You could actually hear the poor kid crying for help in the background while the 9-11 call was taking place. It is just disgusting what they get away with there.
I have a close friend who lives there and was severely injured by police. He wasn't guilty of anything, never resisted or fought. I sure hope there will be justice for this kid. There wasn't for my friend but at least he is still alive and I am glad for that much.

I think something will happen in this case. They will have a hell of a time picking an impartial jury by then!
