Did you know that the current GOP candidates for president are protected by the SS? They're not even in the office yet and they're wasting taxpayer dollars. 
None of them have 25 agents following them around.
I think traveling within the US is a whole lot safer than traveling in Mexico.
35,000+ people have been killed in Mexico's war on drugs since 2008.

And you wonder why they are trying to keep their visit secret?
I highly doubt they are prancing around in a giant convo in a country infested with drug lords... they probably went very low-key with minimal security as to not make a scene with backup from Mexico.
They probably just really planned out the trip and have people set up strategically ready to act if something happens... the biggest thing they have is no one knows they are there... except now that people are outraged they are going to compromise the security of the first family.

this country is broke, and the president thinks it ok to send his child on a vacation that costs runs into the millions.
I am betting they took a C-17 to haul all the armored suvs and vehicles and a smaller jet was need to haul that group of people to Mexico, then the fact they probably had to rent the whole hotel,also never mind the per diem and salaries of all the staff involved.
just so a teenager gets to go to mexico with her friends.
president needs to learn to lead by example.

Does no one even understand what the secret service does? Their mission is to pretty much protect stuff like this.
They work covertly and strategically... they send people in before secure a location and hide out behind the scene. They are not the military... they do not work with a show of force.
