I have a Kindle and bought one for my wife. We both use them daily. We also have a Kindle Fire and it gets used daily between us and the kids.
Well worth it? If you read a lot of books, then yes, most definitely, it is worth it. Having an entire library of books in your hands is pretty damn cool.

I LOVE my Kindle.
I have an older DX, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT.
I have all my school textboks and .pdf files on it, together with the files for my thesis.
You'll have to pry it from my cold, dead hands to get it away from me.

The classic Kindle is AMAZING as an e-reader.If you do any form of travelling, even non-frequently, they are an amazing purchase.

I love my kindle i just wish they would make it so all the paper book i already own i could get for free since i already paid for them but that goes for any e-reader
