I agree, exercise. When something is bugging me (usually work), I'll start running. The more I think on it, I run harder, it becomes easier, and before you know it, I've forgotten all about what was bugging me, and three miles or so have gone by.
For clearing a STUFFED head, Kung Poa Chicken.

Depends on why I need to clear my head. If it is a work blockage thing (trouble with code or whatnot) I just fire up a game (PSP, browser game, DS, whatever) and play it for 10-15 minutes. That usually knocks things loose so I can get a fresh perspective on the problem. If it is pissed off at something or someone the heavy bag in the garage is great for that. Just your daily brain flush though walking the dog is the best fix. Some dog time and fresh air always helps reset things.

Nah seriously, either a good, long bike ride or a hike, preferably in Waterton. Hell, just even downtime in Waterton helps clear my head. I think it's the air there.

Immersing myself into nature somehow. Maybe fishing, hiking or even just laying in a grassy field by a stream. The opportunity doesn't happen often though so my head is pretty cluttered right now
