Yes. I'd much prefer we stick with sports where poor kids everywhere can grow up to become rich criminals.
Let's discuss these other "sports".
Football: 90% of the team is morbidly obese. The game is not being played more than it is being played. Which accounts for the fatassedness.
Baseball: 90% of the team does nothing for most of the game but watch. Thrilling!
Basketball: I don't even watch this lunacy, so I can't even comment. But they're all criminals. Don't ask me how a single dunk ever makes it on Sportcenter as a "highlight". You're 12 feet tall. It's about as impressive as me dunking a crumpled up paper towel at the trash can.
Hockey: The players can't play for more than 2 minutes, or they become "gassed" and therefore, 90% ineffective.
Yeah. You're right. Let's stick with what makes America proud. Laziness.

Mangler had an accident on the way home from the liquor store. He was run off the road and crashed into a woman's clinic. It was one giant Pabst smear.

I come from a poverty stricken part of the country and all we could afford growning up is a ball with dots on it. We couldnt even afford a TV with which to watch real sporting events.

TUG has no source other than his pathetic opinion.
at every level of soccer in the world you can witness players standing around or walking, and no i am not including the goalie.
the notion that soccer is full of effort all the time is only seen by morons with blinders on.

The NBA has taken all the Mexican American futbol fans by putting "El" and "Los" in front of the team names a few times this year.

45 minutes of play, followed by 45 minutes of play. Period. That's not opinion.
No TV timeouts, injury time outs, no turnover timeouts...the game continues. The clock keeps moving.
The ball is not in all parts of the field at all times, but no one just stands around. Even the goalie. Only a complete moron who has never watched a single match in their life would think that.
Players are still required to move to other parts of the field as the ball is played.
It's certainly not 40 seconds of standing around for every 5 seconds of action.

so when a football players walks off the field between plays it's not the same as a soccer player walking to a spot on the field?
you are in serious denial if you think all soccer players on the field are putting in full effort all the time.
hell even after watching some highlight clips watching the edge of the screen you can see standing/walking.
not to mention i just watched 30 seconds of whining to a ref. sure the foot fairies were hopping around in protest, but i could clearly see 7 others standing still, and the goalie sitting down.

No, I don't equate walking 300+lbs to the oxygen tank in between plays the same as jogging to another part of the field to play your position.
Sorry.
