Does it matter what the percentage is? I wanted to keep a clean, conforming number, so 90% seemed the most fun to rile up the masses.
Does it matter that 50% of the team is morbidly obese? 25%? When is it acceptable to mock an "athlete" that has to run 20 yards and needs medical attention?
Those 16 games a year when you only spend a grand total of 5 minutes moving on the field MUST BE ROUGH!

It's insane to put an impossibly high standard of athleticism on a sport and discount any sports that can't match it. That's the point. We all know Soccer is one of the most physically demanding games out there, but does that necessarily mean other sports cant be enjoyable?
Some people enjoy competitive chess, what do you think of that? Sitting for hours and hours. Some people enjoy Sumo wrestling, what do you think of that? Those morbidly obese fat men are probably better athletes than you or I.
is endurance the only physical trait that matters to you? what about strength, explosive speed, technique?

Pffft, I grew up watching Baseball, enjoy Football, and REALLY enjoy Hockey.
I just figured if we're riling up Soccer fans, let's bash some other sports.
I'm sure we can all agree that Basketball isn't really a sport, right?
I am slightly offended we made it to like 30 some odd posts bashing soccer, and we didn't mention diving....
You guys are slipping.

Hee hee...I like watching people fight over which major sport they think is better.
I like every major sport, except golf and tennis and crap like that. So to me, this is all very silly.
