This thread begs the question: do the "women" of ACF use a funnel to get that much sand in their vagina or do they just slide around the beach like an angry Roomba? -deadcactus-

a good article

That's a good article! It really relates to a lot like me. At work I am quiet, I try to keep small talk to a minimum and etc because its not like I am not interested but it is just pointless to talk about. I do awesome in presenting in meetings and getting my point vocalized when I am the one who's taking control. I really do feel drained after going to parties and hanging out with people.

I am not an extrovert AK I'm as far introvert as someone can be

Birds of a feather. In my experience opposites don't attract.

One of my daughters is an extravert. I'm not.

She constantly has to talk, touch, and hug. I'm a far more private person. I don't like casual touching, especially if I don't know the person well.

She lives for social interaction. I do not. I used to actively avoid it. Now I will tolerate it to a degree.

My oldest and third daughters are both quite happy to spend the day in the same room as me watching tv, playing a video game, or reading a book. All without any chatter. That is a good thing.

Yet Daughter #2 walks in and all sorts of chatter, whining, complaining, and social drama starts.

I'm beginning to suspect my youngest is an extravert as well.

Depends on when the introvert is cornered by the extrovert.

Basically the difference between being an introvert and an extrovert is whether or not you need people to 'recharge the batteries', so to speak. You can be a very outgoing introvert, or a shy/socially awkward extrovert.

Me, I'm an introvert. I joke and laugh and have no problems talking to people whatsoever, but at the end of the day I just want to go home and vegetate. My wife knows better than to say anything of importance to me for a good hour or so after I come home, because I don't want to fkin talk to anyone. I certainly don't mind hanging out with people who get energy from socializing, but I damn well don't want to talk to them when I'm trying to unwind. Being around other people generally doesn't relax me.
