Infiniti G37
The new Lincoln MKZ that they showed off looks AMAZING though. New Altima looks cool too

Hyundai Genesis I consider a luxury car worth checking out too. 4.2L engine in the sedan, has really nice performance and a great pricetag

You'd consider buying Japanese after the Rape of Nanking?

There is no point buying a really nice car (BMW, Lexis etc) for a commuter when you are going to drive it into the ground.

Get a used camry or accord, etc.. but be forewarned, Honda likes to rape it's customers at service time.

The commute should be shorter in the next couple months(hopefully).

Also, I'd rather be comfortable.

On the contrary. Driving 90 miles every day is much less aggravating in a nice car. The difference is astounding. I drive an e61 and it is quiet, comfortable, effortless and safe. And when necessary, fast and amazingly enough, fun to drive too.

There's no point in buying a nice car to park in you garage.

Buick Lucerne with all the bells and whistles. We just got rid of ours after putting 100k on it in 4 years. It was comfortable, quiet and we never had a bit of problem with it. We commute 100 miles a day for work.
