I think the way the links are set up is sneaky. Even in the post they are right above each other. I didn't realize the link in his sig is a to the pay version. I get the impression he's hoping people click the wrong one and just pay.
I have nothing against mod makers putting up a link for those who would like to donate but I think it should be clear what it is.
On a side note: That skull, while great, is way to large for what I want to do with it. I guess I'm off in search of a render I can run through binvox and get a smaller scale model.

Scale it down. Would be very easy to do. I've been thinking of making a half scale out of glowstone as part of a series of sculptures on the beach nearest the skull castle.

I would print the blueprints, then translate the scaling on blank grid paper. I like doing things like that and never really do it since I took a couple engineering graphics courses way back in the day. (the hot graphics card back then was the Hercules)
Or you could take the very easy method and open the schemati in Minecraft Structure Planner and scale it.

I found one that works better for what I wanted. I just need to play with binvox because my first attempt resulted in a blob. The thread suggests sampling at a higher than desired scale then using the -down flag to scale it. I'll try that.
Edit: If I can get close I'll tweak it on my test world then run the .schematic through viewvox for the plans.
Oh who am I kidding. I'll just MCEdit it in. =P

What was update today that broke mods? I haven't played but see on board there's one up. Just can't find what it actually does except breaks mods.
