Map HUDs usually annoy me.
This HUD is pretty small and doesn't show things like mobs just the geography and things you've built. I like the waypoints too.

Finished the outside surface of my new castle. Thought I'd share a few pics.
Still need to do everything inside and cut the entrance to a little 'grander' look...maybe add teeth. You might see some light inside the nostrils as I was working on a secret room which uses the nostrils to over look the area. After all that the only thing will be a lave moat. Considering making a lavafall out of back of skull where an emergency exit currently is that spills into the lava moat.

That is downright awesome 
Do you use tools to help you build them or wing it manually? Seems all I can master creating are typical house style places, even my castles tend to turn out as real oddballs. So many thigs I want to try to build but apparently I suck lol

Unrelated to mc, I recall several of you were hooked on rift. 1 month down since launch so I am finally going to hop in to the game tonight. What server are ya'll playing on for me to harass you?

Used a blueprint (not a schematic) for the skull. Blueprints are the layer by layer layout of blocks so you actually have to lay the blocks yourself. The blueprint is on the minecraft forum, there a schematic there as well but it's glass filled with lava which would have been a nightmare to kill off all the damn lava.
Not sure what to put in all the room, it's probably 5+ times larger than the largest castle I had built to this point.
