Freakin creepers, I thought they were all dead. Naturally it was after I did a /give TNT 2000 and laid out most of them that one found me, I had planned on laying out a redstone path to get to a safe spot  placing them and all I heard was "Sssss" BOOM x 1648" I didn't even have time to wet me drawers But I do have one hell of an impressive dent lol!
I then decided it was time to try the /Explode command, hell I'm on a roll so why not just keep going for big numbers. Did you know /Explode 1000 is apparently not the equiv of TnT x 1648? I lagged for the TNT but the explode command just literally went boom and there went my game.
Destruction shouldn't be this much fun.

Managed to get a screenie this time around before they all blew up: (600 creepers, RAWR!)
Managed to get back into my exploded map, it blew a hole straight down to bedrock o.0 Turns out it wasn't the explosion itself that crashed me, it's all of the blocks dropping down. I just did it again from the bottom of the pit, it blasts upwards as far as it does downwards and sideways lol. It's raining blocks, I'm lagging like mad. Been a good few minutes since the explosion and it is still lagging and raining blocks.
Bah, I can't do anything until all the blocks that rained down vanish LOL! Lagging me out too much, can't even use the "clear all" command because I am lagged to the point I can't open my chat window.
In the end I figured out what I needed to know, it isn't the explosion itself causing my crashes. It's the freakin rainstorm afterwards.

I got it to gracefully shut down then restarted it. Started without error so assuming all is good now.

cant respond to you ingame chat isn't going through lol. think it got corrupted a while ago and we are now just noticing it because i logged in and warped home.

Yeah the volume is marked as damaged so it went read only. The backups stopped a couple days ago too so that is probably when it happened. I am pulling the current directory over the network so I can see how bad it is then I will do a fsck on the volumes on the server.
