I'm pretty happy with it so far. We have 8 actives, pretty well spread out, and it is still smooth.

I've been playing single player for a few days just to get the feel for the game, if no-one objects I may play here as well once I feel a little less nooberly.

Can anyone answer a question for me? I've dug myself a mine shaft right down to the bedrock and have started horizontal clearing, searching for diamonds. I've been at it all freaking day and only found about 6 diamonds so far. Is this normal? Should I be digging further up. I have red stuff and coal out the yahoo and a fair bit of gold and lapis from digging horizontals higher up my shaft, but I want diamonds dammit!!!

Halp!

Diamond is only in the bottom layers so you are digging in the right place. And yeah it is pretty rare. I get better results running in a straight line and only digging one block wide. Next run do it so there is one block between your current run and your last run. This way you are having to dig less but are exposing all the hidden rock/ore.

Don't worry about joining us and being nooberly... we're all a bit nooberly... that is half the fun.

Yeah, hop on the server ASAP so you can ask questions and get a feel for the game. Also this way you don't have to restart when you switch from SP to MP

Unless you wind up with a pocket full of TNT there is really little that you can do to mess things up

Yikes, set your home as soon as you log in again. I "Oops'ed" when I ported over to Sneezy to poke him with my sword and discovered I couldn't get back home (which, naturally is a two in-game day run from everyone else lol)

Still installing all the distributable s from ms to runt he map program, but hubrex is that your place waaay down on the right in the water? Looks like a rough diagram of someones ovaries on the map?
