New snapshot released today, includes new mob

Here’s the development snapshot of week 8, 2012! We’ve been a little bit busy with the LEGO trip and Mojam, so the list of changes is a bit shorter than usual:
Added a defense mob to villages
Added up-side-down stairs
Many changes to the world and lighting system

Jeb has said on Twitter that Miencraft 1.2 will be out in the next 2 weeks and that it now bug fix time
the new golem things though that protect villagers are pretty kick ass they hit monsters on roofs though and try and still hit those while mobs on roofs just hang out up there trying to path back down

Wow that is one weird strip of terrain, lol. That or the mapper went sideways and that isn't really the world there.

Yeah and the little Eye on top... lol. I just glanced on dynmap to see if anyone was on and noticed it pretty quick. I guess either what you said and it's not there or it does kind of look like someone could of built it with the white and black trees lol.
