I wish there was a half block for every full block... and stairs for all solid blocks... Seems like it'd be simple to have such things

I used dirt blocks a level above where I wanted to work to lay it out I just forgot to count the blocks to determine the distance I wanted. Not a huge deal. just annoying when I finally started the pattern on the walls and found out I was a block too long.
Ahh, I gotcha. I used torches because I can always use more Torches... and had very little dirt before starting this...
Once I have this leveled I'm likely going to be ... very stocked... on materials. Then get to use them all to build the city

infact you can still see some of the dirt blocks I used to mark out the boundaries of the main castle heh.

Well the guestimates for 1.2 were Feb... looks like that isn't happening unless it happens at the end of the month.

got the walkway around the outer wall base lit up with lampposts. and pillared the inner wall with cobblestone. looks okay.
