On a totally unrelatedish note....
I saw Immortals tonight, not high cinema but the village the hero lives in was really neat.
It was carved into a cliff next to a sea... sorta like the primitive culture villages you see in natgeo videos. Stacked housing just nestled in...
I was thinking it would look awesome made in game, but not sure it would be doable with how the terrain generates right now.
Would need a high cliff but I bet it would look awesome

there are chests right near my portal but I can put some by the spawn I guess and I really appreciate whoever put the sand and sandstone in my market place (as well as the snow golems that now have disappeared )

I tried something like that on the last server reset. it didn't come out right, but what you have to find is a cliff with a large cave! then I think it might come out better (like the Anasazi villages in Colorado and that area.)

This reminds me of wanting to create an underwater house that nestled into a "cave" that the water didn't flow into under the shore

The chests near your portal are locked.
What materials do you need?
I killed the golems, sorry, getting through there became a hassle, trying to keep them contained so they didn't spread snow everywhere.

Fortune works on melons. (At least in the latest snapshot.)

Awesome harvesting them and having to remake them is a pain in the ass.

I've extended the nether rail to Lyndrek's portal and added switches. There's a switch at spawn to go to cubs/eridyn/Arek/Hogg or to the other direction toward Lyndrek, Mithan, Cameron, Rock, TTPNobody, and there's another switch at Mithan's hallway to either go to Mithan's or to Lyndrek's. On the return trip, you end up at spawn with no stops in between. If you want to stop at Rock's place you get off at Mithan's and walk a few blocks to Rock's hallway.

I've changed some of the stations to be the shallow kind, but I don't know how you guys get those working properly. Like the first time I built it shallow, the cart goes too far and sometimes you need to get out and push it back up the incline. I'll try removing some powered rails to reduce the speed and see if that helps.
