Wow that rdiff repair is still running its butt off. I guess I should cull these things down so it doesn't take so long next time, lol.

Yeah it is still running and has variable usage in both cpu and memory which tells me it isn't stalled though it could be in a loop of some sort. Not familiar enough with the rdiff process to go in and muck around with stuff directly though so going to let it run for now.

Yup, even if this repair locks up on me I should be able to go back deeper and recover manually. I can see one hosed incremental taking out the whole backup structure.
Oh and on an unrelated note... doing a full memtest86 on 16Gb takes a LONG time, lol.

I'm always fine with a restart but I'd rather avoid it as I'm sure most would hate to lose their work.
Either way I am letting the rdiff check continue to run and am monitoring it while I work on the new server I am building.
