I killed it myself... though, this particular server doesn't have any monster spawns except from spawners. So there weren't any creatures besides the dragon itself.
Took like 2 hours, but that was mostly because I was testing things and trying to destroy the blocks by climbing the towers so I wouldn't have to shoot them...
Turns out Shooting them is much easier. 
The Dragon itself was a wimp too... I was really surprised... If you don't let him throw you off the world he wasn't bad... just shoot him a couple times as he swoops down to insure he doesn't bash you... When he does though it really hurts
EDIT: Oh and for the enchanting I got:
3 Pickaxes of Unbreaking III & Efficiency IV
3 Pickaxes of Efficiency IV
1 Pickaxe of Efficiency II
