I got mine done. Tried a crushing system. Had about 30 in and none of them got damaged. Wonderful SMP glitches.
I may try another design but They're set up nice for the method I was using. I just need a good supply of spider eyes. (I'll just wait for Axis to get his thing built.  )
I've got eyes at my place from using my grinder. Feel free to take them. I think I moved them up to my storeroom... alchemy chest is on the left facing the back wall.

well it's doneish, and sort of a let down to be honest need to climb the ladder and stay at the top to keep them spawning then go down and kill them lol.
the elevation of the falling chambers could be a block or 2 higher... some of them are dieing from impact damage.... anyways because they dont go up in water source blocks it will be hard to relocate the rally point.

WOoo! I feel Accomplished.
Playing on a friend server I managed to get up a bunch of Ender Pearls, Find a Fortress in the Nether. Build a Blaze Grinder ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dN0kgtdkQkw ) while the blaze were spawning (!!!), and now have more than enough Blaze Rods to do Alchemy and was able to create a surplus of Ender Eyes to locate a stronghold that was -30- blocks under the friggin desert!
Silverfish can kiss my ass though -_- nastiest mob I've rub into yet.

Woo, killed the Ender Dragon!
Took a few deaths... and some just plain jackassery from the Dragon... (It threw me off the world a few times!) but it's been done.
I went from 0 EXP to Level 376 o.o
