I figured a Monday release. Not that hard to do midday that gives you a full week to deal with any fall out. I never understood why places would release stuff on Thur/Fri, lol.

I loaded up the seed from my grinder world as a new world... Now I'm tempted to just paste my base into the ocean, near those mountains.
The question is how much to paste, since I've mined and lit a huge area of caves.
I did figure out how to turn on the structures stuff in an old world. (I'll post the steps in a bit.) This would apply to newly generated parts of an old world only of course. Old worlds by default will never get the npc villages, mineshafts and stronghold, unless they change that with the next release.

Yeah the whole "let's develop two more games before the first is even done" thing bugs me too. It would be one thing staggering them but spreading your code monkies like that is never good.
