I thought it a complete waste so decided to go out on the weekend on my own time and cut it down for cooking wood. I figured I'd get a workout in so decided to do it by hand instead of chainsaw. Then come back the next day with a chainsaw to actually cut it up once it was down. Cut it down on a saturday, the following morning when I went back with a rented chainsaw from home depot some bastard had already showed up and stolen it...
Someone stole a tree?

Either that or it reoriented itself on its stump, uprooted and walked to a different area and replanted itself...
Oak, especially the one I cut down actually holds some value, this tree was rather tall and straight making it prime for furniture making. But I am sure a dude saw me cutting it down and had a chainsaw ready and simply waited for me to leave and finished the job.
I really wasn't out to much cept the rental of the chainsaw, but that was only like 20 bucks I believe since I took it right back.
