Launcher Noise of Absurdity... |
...so has anyone found a fix/workaround for the insanely, obnoxiously, horrendously loud noises the launcher makes? I know when this first came up people were talking about a Windows 7 fix but is there any other solution out there?

I have windows 7 and have not fixed it yet, it just doesn't bother me all that much. If it bothers you thought why not just hit mute, hit the button and hit mute again?

That's what I've been doing, just wondered if there was a fix or a non-stupid workaround.

open launcher, open your sound/mixer options. then just turn down the volume slider for the launcher.

Step 1: Browse to your wow client directory.
Step 2: Copy the wow.exe file to your desktop.
Step 3: Click on the aforementioned wow.exe shortcut.
Step 4. These is no step 4.
