The protection against CC for people with tenacity was having a couple of healers. DR kicks in very fast when you don't die to the initial salvo.

When the horde on my server (the ones who always had tenacity) actually fielded their decent players, they would slaughter us. Dps in front making a semi-circle screen, healers and vehicles behind (with a ranged dps or two to handle flankers)... serious carnage and virtually unstoppable. Only when the drivers were retards and would move their vehicles right up to the walls (or even worse, the doorway walls) would the vehicles get picked off and the advance would be seriously slowed down. The smart ones just leave the vehicles in back, protect them, and shell the walls down one at a time.

It would always crack me up when the noob horde were playing... 10 of them would pile into a bunch of siege tanks and demos, ride up to a wall, all the vehicles get blown up, and then those 10 horde would slaughter alliance in the area for the next 5-10 minutes. If they just kept one vehicle back pounding away at the wall, they would've made so much more progress.

Truth. Running WG right now is completely pointless for any reason outside of wanting to kill people. 16 honor per weekly? Really?

I was doing it for the win credits to get the achievement, it's not looking like that is going to happen now.

Yeah, I wtf'd when I saw the quests rewarding 16 honor....the old system was like 4k per quest, yeah?

I like the change, on my server multiple horde guilds cooperate to keep WG, even when we have 30 to 40 people we were always outnumbered my a large amount. At least now we can earn the buff and right to enter VOA.

However, nothing excuses the rewards of BGs and such... the honor rewards are far to low to make it worthwhile.

As I said in another post, I ope this encourages horde to faction change back to alliance. A lot of people hopped on the horde bandwagon and in most servers the population is grossly lopsided on horde's favor.

Anything other than getting your character to 80 is a waste of time at this point. Heck even that is a waste of time.

Here is my solution:
Add a 50% player population variance with tenacity.

What do I mean?
Allow up to a 50% difference in numbers and balance that with a small buff on the short side.

The goal here is to allow more people to get in and play, while still keeping things relatively even.


So if you have 20 people on X side, Y side could have 50% more for a total of 30 people and the X side people would get a small buff to help even that out.

The main problem I have now is that barely anybody gets in to play, and that really sucks, more than being rolled ever did.

An escalating system would've worked well. Every time the loser side loses, they'll get more tenacity and a better player ratio the next time through. And there should be some sort of carrot reward for winning WG after not having won it for a while, to entice people to play - kinda like an honor jackpot or something that just keeps building up until a group wins and claims it.

But this current system is horrible. I really hope they toss it soon and say, "well that was lame, let's try something else."
