Yeah, all you had to do is install the WotLK DVD, it would have brought you up in no time.

Before all of the Cat patches, I did a WoW install fairly quickly.

I still use my original WoW install too actually, from 6 years ago. I just copy it to another drive anytime I reformat

You can load WoW classic and then upgrade right to the latest expansion pack, which greatly reduces your download time.

Of course, you can also download WoW classic, and then every single patch... if you want, hehe.
