On the Countdown to Cataclysm, Blizzard sent to me...
Three Days Off
With Cataclysm right around the corner, have you requested time off work yet? Why or why not? Do you fear the ridicule of others because you take time off to play a video game? Or are all your friends taking time off to play too? How many days are you taking off? Do you have a battle plan to follow to make the most of your time off? Or are you just going to go where whim takes you?

I scheduled my surgery close enough that I'll still be on medical leave, but not so close that I'd still be in pain.

I took time off this week just for fun. I won't be taking time off next week. I guess I don't see the point in rushing WoW. Having a headstart in WoW really doesn't give you much IMO. They'll get to 85 a day or two before me? Good.

Ditto. I had my surgery on Nov 17th and I'm not due back at work until the first of the year.

You know that 12 days of Christmas thing is really underdone, I hope it catches on. It's super cute.
Almost as good as the umpteen horrible Twas the Night Before Christmas things we will suffer through.
Yes I love Christmas, just not the overused badness of the above two items.
