I think whenever a mounted player gets within 5 yards of a quest NPC, they should automatically be dismounted.

I always dismount out of courtesy, but yeah, most do not.

Nameplates > mount blocking NPC...

Pretty much every response is hostile or at minimum a smartass. I have him on /ignore

Easier than scrolling your mousewheel forward? Easier than clicking on a nameplate?
If it needs to be that easy, perhaps you should try something else...like PONG..
