Did you know it's really dangblasted HARD to make a guide that will work for both Horde and Alliance when the Horde don't have access to half the recipes the Alliance does? Sheesh! I re-wrote this guide probably 4 times!

That IS the best option and I have a guide for that. But if you missed out on that and need to get your cooking skill up for THIS event then you're not stuck in a canoe in 1K needles without a paddle.

Another option that my Dwarf Hunter used was Raptor Eggs for Curiously Tasty Omelet. Raptor eggs are quite easy to get in the wetlands. When playing Horde, and leveling cooking late, I would get them off the raptors in STV.

The cooking guide for the bountiful feast event got 4 of my characters from 1-390ish cooking. In a single day.

Well, you can't get to 450 on thee Darkbrew Lager recipe. It turns gray at 440.
Maybe it changed when they lowered it to 415.

I don't doubt that you did. All I know is it turned gray for me at 440 last night.
They seem to have a "hotfix" everyday.
