anyone else feel this way? heroic gear is just as good (better in many cases because of stat allocation) to the justice gear. i find myself buying tons of heirlooms that i don't know if i will ever even use, and even went and bought that mammoth mount just because i had points to spare.
is it supposed to be like this? are justice points only supposed to full in the gaps for "unlucky" drop items you just can't seem to get? i thought in the past the badge items were better than the heroic drops.

I believe the progression is JP/Normal Dungeons then Valor/Heroic.

Would make sence.
If JP gear was supposed to purchase T11 gear like frosties did before with T10 then everyone would have a decked out toon by now. So to make it more even the JP are probably to get you started with some dungeon fill in gear.

If justice points followed previous rules, it would be one step behind the top end raid gear. If I'm seeing things right, it's two steps behind. I suspect it will catch up quickly once people start getting bored again.

Right now it's useless once you are geared, but it'll become progressively more useful (and easier to acquire) as we push through the tiers.
It is kinda annoying how worthless it is now in terms of how quickly you cap it.

JP will be better when Tier 12 armor comes out and you can use it for T11.

I don't know, but I'm leveling a new toon on a new server, and I wish I had some PvE heirloom gear to give the little sucker...

indeed, my jps are rotting now...got all my main and off spec items that JPs can buy. It is a pity you can not use them for chaos orbs or something.
Anything would be nice. I guess buy all the heirlooms? but then what?

I bought every JP piece I could get BEFORE I ever got a drop I could use. Caster mail NEVER dropped for me :\ Really only lately I've had some caster mail drop.
