back before Cata was about to hit, I was over in theramore waiting to do Onyxia and while at the meeting/summong stone I got bored and decided to kill some mobs in the area. I happened to loot a Dazzling Longsword off one of the corpses there out of the blue. Was pretty neat, am glad now that I looted the body. lol.

Could not agree more with the sentiment here.

In late WOTLK I did the same thing on all my characters. On my tank, most people waited, one or two died. On my DPS, nobody waited, nobody cared, on my healer, several times people died.

I REFUSED flat out, ABSOLUTELY REFUSED to be led through a dungeon at breakneck pace by one of those ADD tanks who wouldn't wait for me to loot and enjoyed thoroughly when some of them died.

Looting takes very little time and is built into the time that I will spend in a dungeon. Don't like it, kick me.

I would rather people dont loot, then be looting in the middle of a pull.


but I remember when I played my healer, I was always medding and if I took the 2 more seconds to loot... I would fall behind.


blues+ are lootable by all, so odds of having everyone skip those should be pretty high.


When Im doing PL work, I tend to not loot anything but bosses or big pulls. My GF used to tag along behind and do my looting, but that pc sploded... so shes in constant loot denial. She watches me play and I ignore all loot. She'll be wispering to me ... loot... loot... loot.


with 4 level 85 mages, if I need coin... I'll go farm some.

I'm a loot hog. I MUST pick up loot. Although my bags are usually full but 11s at a time adds up! Besides there might an RoG epic somewhere!
