Thanks for saving me the time/money. Seems Civ is on a power of 2 success path. 1 was good, 2 was better, 4 was good... Civ 8 should be fantastic!

Well Civ5 is good if you are a military player. If not, you are screwed.

nah, didnt play Civ 5, but I heard it was critizied (sp).
Man, I`d like to see a new SD Alpha Centauri. I know it wasn`t favorable but it had depth (sorta ^^).

Oooooh yeah, i WANT a remake of Alpha Centauri. I still play the game every few months. Still one of the best games Sid ever did. Units customization and diplomacy is awesome.
Damn i gotta re-install now.

I want a remake of MOO2. I have CIV5 (both PC and Mac versions, the later was free as I had the PC version). It does bog down, regardless if I am under Windows 7 or OS X, in the late game. It just plays too slow for the most part; progression that is.

Yeah if you want some randomness. I always check the option to be able to research what i want. I know the tech tree by heart. There are so many game-breaking projects(wonders) and technology in this game hehe.
