The movements don't really mimic the actually spells casted though, which I suppose makes sense. Wouldn't it be sweet to have some dude standing there waving his hands around in front of his tv to cast fireballs? lol.

It has some potential, if they just made to where your head controlled the camera movement for example that could even be used while still sitting at the keyboard, or if they made so that finger tips could be bound to keys so they you could hit or cast by making typing motions, leaning left, right, forward or back would move you in those directions etc..

Yeah but you would have be required to yell: FIRE-BOLT, FIRE-BOLT, MAGIC MISSILE, while you were playing.

I don't think you would be able to do that without yelling that stuff lol....I wouldn't be able to

While it's mostly gimmicky stuff, I think that a few years down the road it could make for some interesting games and maybe help further virtual reality. So that aspect is pretty cool.
Regarding its use for wow though, I don't think I'd want to use that simply because if something's going wrong in a dungeon, how am I supposed to turn and grab aggro off that player, or heal the guy getting beat up? Sure, you could eventually learn it, but can you imagine someone less agile trying to do all that?

We could also make an interface that would have various regions on your desk marked off with tape. Based upon where you slammed your forehead, it would activate a different special move... but why?

I can really see a future of this in WoW. I imagine they would have to work out some kinks here and there, but it would be sick if they commercialized this.
