So I recently started using a VPN (Virtual Private Network) and all of a sudden my account keeps being locked and having to reset my password.
Evidently if you log in from different IP addresses your account will be auto-locked and will have to go through this procedure every time you log in.
Billing sent me a cut-and-paste blandishment saying ... well, nothing. Then tried to sell me their dongle.
Evidently they do not allow their customers to not be groped by their TSA goons.
So my choice is either not use a basic Internet privacy service or change my password each time I log into WoW.
Some choice.
Rift beta is looking very good. Same cost as WoW and no hassles.

Personally I like that security feature, I don't feel the need to use a VPN for the illusion of pricacy on the internet.
Rift is better because it has less security? *Shrug*

Nope, its better because its better. And yea, they stole a ton from the Wow look and feel.

Yep, they stole all the worse from WoW, and made it even worse. Not only their quests are bland and unimaginative, but they also lack the variety, humor and story lines of WoW. Rift is kinda Warhammer II, but without any improvement except adding some random events called "Rifts", which aren't even that new anyway, in hope to be able to call it "revolution" and attract some people.

It seems like a pain in the arse, but sooo many people are glad this feature is there when the IP logging into their account is coming from mainland China...
