I'm not aware of any MMO that has this except RIFT. Anyone know?
Basically when you loot one corpse, you loot them all in a single window. It is freaking sweet, especially combined with auto-loot.

Auto loot in DAoC (as long as you were in range of the mob, which was something like 2/3 combat range) was totally automagic. I liked it. Never had to worry about forgetting to loot that one random quest drop.

I'm disappointed that we have gone backwards since DAoC. I guess it could be considered dumbing down, but looting is one of the most tedious acts in a MMORPG. It's brutal.
Maybe it's there as a time sink, I don't know, then geez make combat a little slower or something. :o
DAoC and CoH - awesome.
But Rift is a welcome step back to where we should be sounds like.

Absolutely. AoE looting in Rift is freaking awesome. But I sometimes blink a few times after looting one corpse and think "Wait, there were a few corpses here that I had loot on." Then it dawns on me and I go about my happy business, a little bit happier than I was before since I didn't have to click 5 times.

Looting in WoW takes more skill. If you carebears learned to play the game, our forums would be clean of all this whining. Get a guild and learn to loot IMO.
