Without wishing to be too harsh, fact is, the vnboards software is pretty primitive - I've been posting here for nearly six years and I don't recall seeing any improvements in functionality in that time, we're still firmly at "turn of the century" levels of technology.

At least the Search function still works flawlessly!

Seriously?

Sounds like a good dose of self control, with a dabble of thick skin is what you need. No software required, just make up your mind, and do it.


Or, wait..do you need someone to design a "board function" to help you make up your mind as well?


I just don't get it.

Keep in mind, sure you can skip over most of the time but there will be those moments that, while scanning, this comes to mind:

Sure, he will see some things(and killer graphic btw . Why can't he just do like a normal person, turn on the "IDGAF" button, and go on about his day?

I still don't get it. I need someone to help me understand this "mindset" in which an opinion based message board contains too many differing opinions, and the opinions said person doesn't agree with need to be "blocked" by some sort of "boardware".

(insert the analogy of the screaming kid with his hands covering his ears)


1. Do people troll? Sure.
2. Do people call others who disagree with them "trolls"? Every. Single. Day.
3. Can everyone handle their opinion(s) being bluntly scrutinized? Nope.


I propose that the original post is all about 2 and 3, and has little to nothing to do with 1.
