Stupid And Worthless Changes with Patch |
They changed the fishing cursor to a hook. The fish was fine. The hook is larger and more annoying.
They readded the puff of smoke when you dismount and mount. It's gray and ugly. It's not timed right so it puffs after you've already been dismounted a few seconds.
Serious changes I know. Who'd they waste pay on for those changes?

They made it so that Cataclysm factions are now at the top of the list of the rep window.
That makes me happy. Needless scrolling ftl!

Stupid and worthless:
- there are no ropes when vanessa dies (last boss in dm) - but she still blows up - I guess you have to jump off the ship and run all the way back around (clear path up thru fire now) to loot. My group got one-shot...we kinda figured the warning that popped was an error since there were not ropes - but kablamo!
Undocumented changes:
- can no longer fight croc boss in city from statues (figured it was an exploit and was gonna get changed, but no mention) - invis walls prevent you from getting near the statues
- can no longer jump down in first phase of the dream on vanessa - fire hits immediately and you'll likely cook when you jump (I'm not sure I'd call this an exploit, more of a design flaw, and it should've been mentioned)

They also fixed the audio issues I was having. Audio would break up and sound crappy when lots of sounds were playing. Underwater sounds got really messed up. The audio sounds amazing now for some reason, lol.
They also fixed the annoying Blacksmith items that were equipping wrong and the consolidate buffs option that would keep reverting and stuff like that.
I like the new Cinematic pop up window. Nice touch.
