I only play this game for PVP. I don't do raids or dungeons.
I arena in all 3 brackets on my Hpally although it has been pathetic since the nerfs to Hpallies/warlocks. The highest I have ever gotten was Rival and that was last season in 3's. I doubt I will ever see higher than that because I lack the skill 
I also arena with my Priest, DK, Warlock (x2 one horde, one alliance) Another Hpally besides my main and...Boomkin. Gah, there might be more lol. I have quite a collection to get through each week.

I HATE doing arenas. I love pvp (yes I played DAoC), but it makes absolutely no sense that world pvp doesn't reward as arenas do....even on pvp servers. The arenas are the worst thing this game has to offer by a long shot and the recent "balancing" of classes makes it worse. I have done some arenas however (I have the 2h sword and chest) but, if there was any way to get the purple gear w/o the arenas, I'd drop arenas like a hooker with herpes.

Not a fan of arenas. I don't care if others enjoy it, but I don't understand why that style of play was considered the ultimate in WoW PVP for so many years. My cousin enjoys arenas, but he's more of a FPS type player than MMO. At least with a game like CounterStrike everyone starts out on a completely equal footing... the class and gear imbalances make arenas a joke.

PVP in a tiny, exploit-filled box? No thanks. The first few weeks I spent chasing sip-drinking people around pillars and other LOS-exploitable terrain "features" pretty much killed it for me. Queue-dodging and win-trading: the new e-Sport!

Love PvP.
Participate in Arenas.
Hate Arenas with a passion.
Did very well in the early seasons, haven't this season. Hunters are horribad in arena with Cata. 
PvP =/= One or two class comps always dominating. Pillar humping is  .
Battlegrounds should be the only PvP in the game and ranked should be available with a 5-man team.
