Do you participate in Arenas? Why or why not? Do you 2v2, 3v3 or 5v5...or all of the above? Do you get really high ranking or do you stay middle of the road? Do you only play to get enough points for a few pieces of gear? Do you do Arenas with the same character all the time or do you switch around to whatever seems to be the most powerful after any given patch? Do you stick with the same spec or not?

I know arenas have their following somewhere but I'm not among them. *shudder* I don't particularly like PvP. Especially not as melee. I did Arenas in BC because it was the best pre-raid gear I could get as an lolRet. So I did my 10 games a week for points but that was it. Haven't touched them since.

They should just do dedicated arena servers where you transfer (or copy) your character too, use a preset set of gear for your class/spec and let people go at it.

I love PVP.
Pillar humping, however, is not PVP.. It is just pillar humping.
I never will understand why world PVP rewards players with nothing, and pillar humping rewards with the best gear possible.
I will also never understand why players on PVP realms are not rewarded for playing as such.
Add all of this up, and the Arena disgusts me. Not the actual fighting, but the mentality of the devs with he whole idea of it all, and the weight that arena is given in the "reward" sense of things.

I have in the past, and have done a few games in Cata with my son, but it's just a diversion for me; not something I do seriously or put much effort into.

Blizz copied alot of ideas from alot of games, yet they didn't copy any decent pvp concepts from the only game that was the most successful for its pvp. So of course they would have no knowledge on how to reward or create a competetive atmosphere(flame on ppl who actually paid for tourny). WoW is just a pve game to me.

Arenas are the most retarded thing WoW has done. They absolutely should be removed from the game as they have screwed up PVE AND BG PVP.
