Oh yeah, that was my first take on it when I read it. Just saying though I think he meant sarcasm but utterly failed and his statement just came out rude, and aloof. Believe me, his attitude towards the players is very offensive in my opinion.
This reminds me of how cops get after they work the job for enough years. You know you are either a cop, a criminal, or an a$$hole to a police officer. Same thing for these devs. They have this idea that all players are just like the vocal, rude .0001% of the playerbase that posts comments on the OF.

And the sad part is, GC and the rest at blizzard are too arrogant to realize that they DESERVE the rudeness they are getting from the customers at this point.

Developer1; We have a problem. No one wants to be a tank. Queue times for DPS is getting close to an hour. Many say that playing a tank is just not fun. Anyone have a solution?
Developer2; I have an idea. Let's making playing a tank even harder.
Developer1; Great idea! That should spark some interest.
