I don't care what anybody says, when someone like PallyDog doesn't want to play, someone that has devoted so much time, effort, and heart into the game, there is definitely something wrong with the game.

Uhoh, I think I just summoned Korrigan. Sorry all. I'll be quiet now...

I'm a lurker and I know it.
Post count just means you spend too much time reading and not enough playing.

Continuing to argue about the definition of OCD is a sign of OCD.

Arc has it right Pally, if you feel this way, it's time for a break.

Not sure why it's so suprising that a person that has invested so much time into something over this long of a period is feeling this way; I'm more surprised that it's taken this long.

I often wonder what the total # of hours played is for people that are quitting compared to the people that are staying. And if there is any correlation between a high number of hours played and dissatisfaction with the current state of the game.

Actually it means there is something wrong with the player. What the H*LL took him so long to get bored with it? WoW is still the same old grind it has ever been, just with a new skin.

People ask this question a lot.

Blizzard's own press release stated that approximately 70% of people who try the game via the free trial quit before level 10.

So no, number of hours played is not the problem. Crappy design is the problem, there is no question about it.

People who have played the game for a long time played because they enjoyed it. No longer enjoying it has nothing to do with "too much time played" but everything to do with how the C team has destroyed the game all those people once enjoyed playing.

That's all there is to it, despite what the wannabe Dr. Phils of VN babble about. (Then again, those people only get a in response )

Have you tried augmenting your play sessions with cannabis sativa, or perhaps the free base form of cocaĆna?

I will login again tonight to try out the 2 new heroics.

I to have been playing very little and have been getting back into some other games. 1) LOL. I have even bought some RP again and 2 new champs. 2)Borderlands. They had the Game of the Year edition and all 4 DLC for $15 on Steam the other day. I haven't played it in a long time and only the 1st game and 3rd game some. I would love to play through all the DLC and finish game 1 as they story is actually pretty good.
