What I would like to see in the next expac |
I do NOT want to see more of the same.
I want to see some new game play dynamics enter into the game, but not sure exactly what I want.
All I know is that the same game play for another 5 levels then a repeate of dungeon grinding will not make me buy the next expansion pack.

They need to hit a home run in the next expac with something *really* different or it will become server consolidation time.

I would like to see a massive dream sequence. IE Cata was just a dream and we get brought back to Lich King days and Dalaran

Agreed. I don't know what I want, but another expansion of the same will not win me over for more than a few weeks.

New class, doesn't have to be a hero class.
Steal Rift idea of player spawned PvP outdoor events to compete over.
No more phasing, no more vehicles.

I wouldnt mind seeing the dungeon finder offer every dungeon available on non and heroic difficulties for all levels. I would love to be able to que for a specific dungeon at level 85 (say Wailing Caverns) and have its difficulty be changed to reflect the other four level 85s in my PUG/Guild group. If I was level 60, I could que for the same dungeon but it would be for level 60s, etc. I would love to be able to pick non or heroic too.
Something I have always wanted - Cross race faction changes. I would LOVE to see Blizzard allow Horde (or Alliance) become exalted with the other faction and become "at war" with their own. Then allow the Horde to complete Alliance only quests, get Alliance mounts, pets, enter other faction cities, use the AHs there, etc (or vice versa).
Edit - Cross faction Dungeon Finder PUGs. Would be friggin awesome.
