Anybody can give advice on how to make an account that is worth $1000? What would you need on the account and how long in playing hours would it take? Thanks!

Probably nothing these days.

Possibly one that has all the hard to get(mostly non-attainable now) stuff. Like Blizzcon/TCG pets/mounts etc. All Collector's Editions as well

You'd probably have to collect a few legendary items (or collectables that will cost you real money) to make a single account worth that much.

How much is gold selling for?

collect that amount on your character, and sell for 1k?

Not sure why anyone would buy a character, it's so easy to get anything you need with a bit of intelligence.

Rare stuff, pets, mounts, collectibles etc... like what everyone else said plus be the owner of a level 25 guild with 7 tabs and you are talking 1k plus net worth.

Or just have an account with a spectral tiger mount on it, those mounts sell for near 1k by themselves.

Since you're not there quite yet, I'd suggest selling your vanilla account with a couple of average-geared 85's for about 100 bucks. Then go out and get a job and earn the other $900. It'll be way faster to do that than to build a thousand dollar account.

Yeah seriously. You will earn $1000 flipping burgers before you do it playing WoW.

445,000 gold will net you 1000 dollars selling it on a ToS violating site.

So get burger flipping.

I have done some research in the past for accounts and THIS is probably what would fetch the closest to that. Possibly also check out some of the wow TCG loot cards and you are going up the right track. The most I have seen one go for was 700 back in 1.0 with some Naxx gear on it (a buddy).
