I just re-activated my account because I forgot about the year deal I signed up for and I want the mount + Diablo 3 for free. I do intend to check out MoP anyways soooo. Haven't logged in yet tho.

Do you play WoW currently? Yes.. very casual.. weekends for a couple hours
Does the majority of the game still involve 40-minute DPS queues while everyone sits around Orgrimmar and an endless amount of repetitive daily
quests? No idea.
Are you looking forward to MoP? I will check it out.. not an anticipation like the last few xpacs.
Do you think WoW is growing or dying? Of course it is dying.. its 7 years old.
Do you think Rift is growing or dying? Dying on the vine.. I have logged in on characters of various levels and the place is a ghost town. The game was smoke and mirrors to begin with. Most people have figured this out by now.

No

Probably, I quit a while ago and I remember the queue's were long (longer than WotLK)
Are you looking forward to MoP?
No
Do you think WoW is growing or dying?
Dying, but slowly
Do you think Rift is growing or dying?
Probably dying

had 10 free days so I checked it out... from what I see nothing has come out since rift came out other than some new daily quests. I could be wrong I logged off after 10 mins.

Do you play WoW currently? Not as often as I used to
Does the majority of the game still involve 40-minute DPS queues while everyone sits around Orgrimmar and an endless amount of repetitive daily quests?Depends on how you play. When I queue for a random it takes about 20 min as a dps class. If you don't queue, you won't notice
Are you looking forward to MoP?Not as much as I initially thought
Do you think WoW is growing or dying?WoW is losing subscriptions, not sure if that means that it is dying, but it is definitely not what it once was
Do you think Rift is growing or dying?Never played it, don't read about it, so I have no idea

- My sub hasn't expired yet but I'm not playing. I was sick of WoW within a couple hours of starting my account back up. Once my sub runs out I think I'm done with WoW forever.

- The situation at endgame hasn't really changed. If you want to progress in PVE you either deal with the LFG system and the BS that comes with it, or you have to apply for a part time job as a raider and put up with guild BS.
Are you looking forward to MoP?
- Not at all. I can't think of a single feature that I'm excited about.
Do you think WoW is growing or dying?
- I think it's a bit early to say that WoW's "dying". However, WoW's definitely past its prime and seems to be having a midlife crisis right now. I expect the sub numbers to continue to slowly and steadily decline.
Do you think Rift is growing or dying?
- I didn't even make it out of the starting zone before I was bored with Rift so I couldn't tell ya.

Yes, running thru the revamped content with a Prot Pally currently from starter zones to cata

Alliance side here - not doing much grouping, but other leveling guildies do get the achieves for dungeons on a regular basis
Are you looking forward to MoP?
Not particularly looking forward to it, but probably will get the collector's edition again.
Do you think WoW is growing or dying?
Growing in size, dying in playerbase
Do you think Rift is growing or dying?
No idea about Rift, the only game I am really looking forward to is Diablo 3

No.

No clue.
Are you looking forward to MoP?
No, it looks terrible so far.
Do you think WoW is growing or dying?
Neither. It is not dieing but it is not growing either. I just think the devs are slinging off players like crazy with their large, terribly thought out changes. If they would just settle down and stop F***ing with the game for a few minutes it might settle out and even grow again.
Do you think Rift is growing or dying?
No clue, played at release but got too bored to keep bothering when I hit level 34 or so on a Rogue.

and noone is actually getting hurt which takes away the guilt of watching.

No, quit several months ago and doubtful if I ever return. Partially burnt out on WoW and partially dislike the direction of the game.

I don't remember it being that bad when I quit. The one thing the game never lacked was people.
Are you looking forward to MoP?
Nope, not even the slightest little bit.
Do you think WoW is growing or dying?
Dying a slow death that will take many years to realize.
Do you think Rift is growing or dying?
Seems to be holding at wherever it is now. Nothing really wrong with this game other than WoW has pretty much already covered it all. Yes, Rift has a few cool things but nowhere near enough to distinguish itself from WoW.

Hello PATRICK--
This message is being sent to confirm that all payment information has been removed from the World of Warcraft account <removed because of privacy>, effectively cancelling its recurring subscription as of 26/11/2011 16:29:58. The account will not bill or renew any further unless new payment information (payment method or game card) is manually entered in.
The account will remain playable for the remaining time it has already paid for. This account’s current prepaid time will expire on 08/12/2011 12:52:06.
Please note: Cancelling one World of Warcraft subscription that has been merged to a Battle.net Account will not cancel all World of Warcraft Accounts which have been similarly merged. If you wish to cancel more than one subscription, you must cancel each individually.
To check your account status at any time, you can log into your Account Management page at this link, using your account name and password:

At this time, Blizzard has no plans to delete or “expire†characters, even if an account is deactivated or cancelled. However, we do reserve the right to delete the characters on cancelled accounts at any time.
In the event you have any other billing questions or concerns, please feel free to contact our Billing & Account Services team for support: http://eu.blizzard.com/support/article.xml?locale=en_GB&articleId=23210

And there goes my second account. Bioware for the win.
As reasons for canceling, I gave the stupid changes to the game, and told them to fire Ghostcrawler if they ever want to make it back to the top.
