i can understand if it were a system where honor points in lowbie battlegrounds couldn't be put towards buying the 85 gear since its a whole different ballgame there....but its stupid that the points u get from killing 85s as a lowbie can't be used to buy that 85 gear. i guess this way they don't have to waste time coming up with a fair system and they get to make the grind longer all in one.

How often does someone under level 85 kill a level 85 in this game? Not very often!

i killed a lot of 85s when i was leveling up. this was early in the expansion before people were well-geared, but i am sure there are plenty of 85s who still die to lowbies today.

So the point was that you wanted a system that allowed you to accumlate and spend points for level 85 gear before you hit 85, by killing level 85 players.
You killed what, a handful of lvl 85 players? Tops? So are you REALLY that mad over 73 honor lol? (Assuming you even went over cap.)
The system isn't there because it would just muddle things up and confuse people for very, very little practical gain for most players.

no. i killed hundreds of 85s while leveling up, which yielded tens of thousands of honor. ideally there would be a system to reward such accomplishment rather than the current system which belittles it and wants you to wait until 85 and grind the points all over from scratch.
obviously such a system would not benefit the majority of players. but it is also this system which discourages people to engage in such world pvp in the first place since there is no significant reward. why risk attacking someone higher level than you if it would yield no fruit either way - that is probably what most players think.

1 honor per kill, would mean 10,000 kills to have 10,000 honor...
Since you said "tens of thousands", you must have earned at least 20k honor, so that's 20,000 kills on 85's, while you leveled from 80-84...??(since all of this honor came from killing "hundreds of 85's)

your values are wrong. i got more than 1 point per kill. i am sure you would find it hard to believe either way since you are probably comparing my experiences to your own pvp experiences. anyways the point of my post was not to brag but to whine about how the system of pushing people to level to 85 as soon as possible and then grind only from that point on is lame.
