Yes. SWTOR has 1.7 mil, WoW has lost just over that 
They'll be back. SWTOR won't have the 7 year+ run that WoW had.

But at least the drop off is slowing down.
Sad though that even with the diablo III promotion they could not stop another quarterly loss and finally see a gain again.
I have a hard time buying that number, as few people there are on my server now and as long as the ques have gotten, it has to be fudeged, I bet the actual number is more than 5 times that.

Well, there's possibly a lot of people like me out there that keep their account open, but don't play.
That has always been the case. When I used to take my breaks, I kept my account active even though I didn't log in and play for 6 or 7 months at a time.
The last time I took a break (last February), I deactivated my account and it has be de-activated ever since.
Either way though, so what? Why are people so obsessed over the numbers. The game is 7 years old now, OBVIOUSLY people are going to get tired of it at some point and move on. duh. Only a complete idiot would be surprised by this.

Well, there's possibly a lot of people like me out there that keep their account open, but don't play.
I suspect it's more this than anything else. So many posts by people who log in long enough to raid and maybe a few crafting cooldowns.

People pay to keep accounts activated even though they don't even log in to use them, when canceling and resubscribing is so incredibly easy?

I log in to keep from losing the level 25 guild I have, and still play the auction house a bit.
But I don't actually play

I'm talking about people just letting their accounts rot yet still paying monthly.
WTF? At least send blizzard a message and fill out the nastygram exit interview every time you are going to take a break
