An other reason why they didn't do a server merge is because of Items.

Game is old school and doesn't have the technology to detect a 'Duped' item.

The thing that keeps all Loot Generated items different is their value, and burden.

You can have the same item, but the value and burden will be different.

They will also have problem with the names. I used to have a Mad Morgana, Caramel Kiss/chocolate kiss on every server. And housing would be a big problem. There is other factors why they can't do it.

well if they wanted too they could find away around all these problems. in the end the fact is they dont care about AC anymore the money is not there. most of the ppl that still play would give up there house and items, just to make the game what it once was. they could do so much to get ppl back to AC. and really for a lot of us it would not take much. right now i to me it really does seem they are milking the game for what they can. so sad.

That is your opinion only. You did not read any of the post from the dev's on this subject apparently. If you are so unhappy with the state of the game then might I suggest going to another one?

Technically yes they could, but it would mean putting in so much man hours that really it would be a waste. And even with all those man hours put in they couldn't do it 100% meaning the way everyone would want it.

not played AC in a few years really. its the best game i have ever played tho. so for sure hope i am not right.

i dont care about any post from any devs, i have played way to many games for that. its all talk till it happens. now going to say this, AC is better then anything i played. i dont think anything will come close.

i love and always will love AC pls give me any links from turbine about AC and what they are doing with the game.

what i said is just my opinion for sure, and i have played to many other mmorpgs. more then yourself i bet. and let me guess nothing is better then AC. sucks huh (

thats my point. if the game was still making money for them and they wanted to work on it they could. look at what they did for D&D online. that game was pretty much dead. now if they did what they did with that game i would be happy for sure.

they made D&D F2P how many ppl do you think that would bring back to AC ? even with a player shop ? AC is the only F2P mmo i would think about paying something for.

sorry to drunk lol i need to stop posting.

Do you really think Turbine is making a profit off of AC? I doubt there is barely enough subscriptions to even pay the staff wages. If it wasn't for the other mmo's that AC shares resources with they would of had to close it a long time ago. IMO they only keep AC around to say that they have the longest running paid mmo on the market. The only one close to us is EQ1. They opened a few months later I believe.

Be happy with what we do have for as long as we can have it.

Agreed. I'm sure AC has more subs then you think, because I'm sure tons of people are still subbed but don't play. Still it's not as much as even two years ago. The only reason they can even keep it going is because of the money they make from D&D, and LOTRO.

I play LOTRO and they just moved their server to where they moved AC's servers a few years ago, so I'm guessing it probably had to do with money. They run all of their servers in the same building probably saves money.

My point is that AC doesn't bring in enough money to warrant a change. Even with all the people that once loved the game, a sever merge would not bring enough of those people back to makeup for all the man hours and what not to do so. Even if they did it would be half assed. On top of that other then AC, DAOC, and EQI the style has changed. It's the WoW, Aion, LOTRO, Etc.

I love AC not longer play, but still love it... but Turbine isn't going to put anymore money into it, they know it's on it's last leg and will keep it up as long as they can without putting more money into it.
